Coast Guard seizes cocaine worth $22 million

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Crews off-loaded about $22 million worth of cocaine seized at sea.

The U.S. Coast Guard crews off-loading more than 1,800 pounds of cocaine, intercepted in the Caribbean.

Officials said the smugglers tossed it into the water after being pursued.

They said the drugs, which were wrapped in 42 bales, is worth an estimated $22 million.
