Woman arrested for harassing manatees

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Florida woman was arrested after getting caught on camera having fun at the expense of some endangered animals last September.

A camera caught Ana Gloria Garcia Gutierrez riding a manatee at a Saint Petersburg beach.

Witnesses said Gutierrez actually harassed three manatees in the middle of a mating ritual.

She could face up to six months in jail for violating Florida law.

Gutierrez could be out on a $1,500 bail.
