Orlando Magic cheerleader falls during stunt

ORLANDO, Fla. (WSVN) -- A cheerleader took a frightening fall. Now, days later she spoke out about the painful stunt.

Jaime Woode is now recovering after falling off her partner's shoulders in front of Orlando Magic fans at a packed arena.

The Magic cheerleader went into surgery after fracturing three vertebrae and breaking a rib.

"I know how to handle myself when these things happen," said Jamie Woode. "So I was just glad to have that type of experience behind my belt."

Woode will be wearing a body brace for the next few months. She says she plans on getting right back to cheering as soon as she heals.
