MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the gunman who shot three people in front of a South Florida home.

The shooting happened Monday night in the area of Northwest 30th Avenue and 208th Street. Investigators said a gunman opened fire on two men and a woman while they were standing in front of the home talking.

The father of one of the victims said a total of five people were standing outside of the home talking before the shooting occurred. He said two of them went back inside the home, just before the gunshots rang out. "They started shooting, and there were three people outside, my son and two of his friends," said Audrey Roberts. "All three of them got shot."

Rescue crews transported the three victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital where, relatives said, one is in serious condition.

Bullet holes are now left in the home's garage where the shooting took place.

One neighbor, who does not want to be identified, believes the victims were mistaken for other people. "I think they shot at the wrong house."

If you have any information on this shooting, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
