Firefighter fired for mixing work and politics

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Broward firefighter has been fired after being accused of mixing his profession with politics.

Clint Pierce, a 20-year veteran of Pompano Beach's Fire Rescue Department, was fired for insubordination.

Officials found toilet paper printed with the image of President Obama in the fire station bathrooms.

Pierce had been reprimanded in a separate incident for placing anti-Obama stickers on his locker.
