South Floridians enjoying some holiday fun

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Holiday festivities in South Florida were in full swing over the weekend.

Hundreds enjoyed a family fun day in Fort Lauderdale Sunday, ahead of this year's Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade. Santa showed up in a convertible to the Riverside Hotel lawn on Las Olas Boulevard. There was dancing and even alligator wrestling.

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade begins Saturday, Dec. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
