MIAMI (WSVN) -- One local young woman is showing off her South Florida style by putting a Latin twist on one of the most popular song of the year.

"I live Miami style" is a Latin infused, Miami specific parody of the most viewed music video on YouTube with nearly one billion hits, better known by Korean rapper PSY's “Gangnam Style.”

Jenny Lorenzo: "I wrote the song super late at night, which is I guess what happens to most people."

Jenny Lorenzo: "The next day we shot it and had to completely edit it in 24 hours so we could just get it out there and make it viral, but it's funny now it's starting to catch on two months later."

Reporter: "You checked it earlier this week and it had how many hits?"

Jenny Lorenzo: "31,000 and now 41,000 but not like I'm counting or anything."

Jenny Lorenzo: "It's either some people get it. They understand it's a parody. Other people, they think I'm really like that. And I'm like, 'No,no,no.' It's all just one big joke."

Reporter: "PSY has made $7 million on this YouTube video. How much have you made on this?"

Jenny Lorenzo: "Probably $7."

Lorenzo said the video was all in good fun. A little exposure for her webisodes called Geekgasms, about all things geeky on the aggressive comics YouTube channel.

Jenny: "I don't intend on singing ever again."

Reporter: "The auto tune helped."

Lorenzo's mission with "I live Miami style" was simple. "It was a mixture of wanting to make people laugh and of course exposure," she said.
