Bus driver in deadly crash apologizes

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A bus driver is apologizing days after a deadly bus crash at Miami International Airport.

Investigators said last Saturday, Roman Ferreiro was driving a charter bus when he slammed into a concrete overpass, killing two passengers and injuring 13 others.

On Thursday, Ferreiro wrote this statement: "With this notice, I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the families who lost family members in this regretful accident. I know there are no words of comfort for what happened, but my family and I are praying for everyone affected and their loved ones."

As of Friday morning, four people remain hospitalized, with one listed in critical condition and three are stable condition.
