MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (WSVN) -- There has been more than $300,000 in stolen property recovered by the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Most of the property was found after the arrest of 61-year-old Rafael Sofia who was arrested last month. Police suspect these items came from both residences and businesses all over South Florida, which he would then sell illegally at the flea market.

Some of the recovered items include power tools, weed trimmers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers and chain saws. Officials believe the items could have been stolen up to three to four years ago.

If you think any of the property is yours you can come by to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Northwest District, located at 5975 Miami Lakes Drive East, Miami Lakes, FL. You can stop by Friday until 7 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m to 2 p.m.

Officials are asking you bring receipts, police reports and/or any valuable information as proof of ownership.

If you are not able to make it out this weekend you can call 305-698-1488.
