Salvation Army receives mysterious donation

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WSVN) -- A seasonal Salvation Army kettle in Florida got a golden touch.
An anonymous donor passed by the bucket in Lehigh Acres and placed a note with a rare gold coin inside.
The note dedicated the donation to Mimi.
The 108-year-old coin is worth an estimated $2,000.
"I can recall a guy," said Sarah Clarke. "I thought it was a check he was putting into my bucket. We would love to know who it is. If the person would ever want to contact us and sit down, I'm sure we'd love to hear stories about Mimi. We all feel like we know her."
The Salvation Army said they believe the man is the same person who has donated rare coins before. This is now the eighth year in a row they have received a coin.
