MIAMI (WSVN) -- Fire officials are investigating a fire that ripped through three businesses, early Monday morning.

Miami Fire Rescue battled the flames at Northeast 59th Street and Second Avenue, just after 2 a.m.

The building consisted of two stores and a restaurant. Officials said the fire started in a variety store. The owner said he has been in business for 10 years. "It's devastating, so I'm just worried about my livelihood for my family. I'm just here waiting, seeing what's going on," said Jay Salomon.

Firefighters had to cut through locks on the steel shutters to get from one business to another. It took about 25 minutes to get the fire under control.

Luckily, no one was injured.
