1 dead in early-morning crash

PLANTATION, Fla. (WSVN) -- One person has died after the sport utility vehicle they were riding in collided with a bus, Tuesday morning.

The fatal accident happened at Northwest 108th Avenue and Broward Boulevard. Police said the SUV smashed into the back of the bus, killing one person and injuring two others.

The eastbound lanes of Broward Boulevard were shut down as part of the investigation, but they have since reopened.
