Police chase ends with suspects bailing out

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Deputies are searching for a robbery suspect who bailed out after a police chase.

The chase came to an end just east of Interstate 95, in the area of Northwest 11th Avenue and Ninth Street, just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies took one subject into custody a block north of the scene and the other fled into the community. He is believed to have fled into a house nearby.

Police have set up a perimeter in a residential area of Fort Lauderdale and are trying to take the second subject into custody.

The two subjects are wanted in a connection to a robbery.
