DANIA BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida family made an emotional plea after their pregnant loved one was hurt during a shooting.

Louise Lyn is desperate for any information after her pregnant niece, 28-year-old Tiffany Davis, was shot twice while walking out of a corner market in the area of 17th Street and Northwest Court in Miami, last Sunday night. "You get a phone call on Sunday evening telling you your niece got shot in the head," said Lyn, "and we all rushed out here praying that she survived."

Davis had worked until her fifth month. Her baby was not due until January, but doctors had to deliver her baby girl, Skyler on Tuesday. "They had to deliver the baby, the baby was shot," said Lyn.

Police said the bullets that wounded Davis and a man were .40 caliber.

Davis' boyfriend did not want to show his face on camera. He said, "As soon as she went out I heard the shots. I thought she had walked down the street, and I heard a scream, so that's when I ran out and she was lying on the ground," he said. "All I can do was just hold her and tell her to keep breathing."

The mother of three little girls is still in the hospital battling for her life. She has a bullet in her brain. "It's mind blowing. You go, meet your daughter for the first time, and she has a bullet wound in her," said Davis' boyfriend.

Miami Police along with investigators are still searching for leads.

The family said they need prayers and want an arrest to be made. "I just want them to find who did this, and I want justice to be done," said Lyn.

A man was also shot while leaving the store. His condition is unknown.

If you have any information on this shooting, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
