Schools locked down as police search for subject

PALMETTO BAY, Fla. (WSVN) -- A police pursuit caused several schools to go into lockdown, Wednesday morning.

Cutler Bay Middle School and Bel Air Elementary School were placed on lockdown as police searched for a robbery suspect.

Police said the chase started after an alleged robbery involving three subjects. The chase came to an end near Southwest 184th Street and 91st Avenue where the subjects' car crashed into a Miami-Dade Police truck.

Officials arrested two of the subjects, and one remains at large.
