Big Mama needs your help for toy giveaway

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Big Mama is looking to make the holidays special for those in need, and her goal this year is to collect 70,000 toys.
Mobile Mike, the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Big Mama's Team of Life have been in Hollywood since 5 a.m. Wednesday, accepting donations for the less fortunate.
They are collecting toys and giving out free food and other goodies to anyone who makes a donation. So far, they have collected sport items, Barbies, stuffed animals, jewelry kits and anything you can imagine that would make a child's holiday season a little brighter.
Mobile Mike said, "We are looking for bicycles, dolls. We're looking for anything. A lot of less fortunate people here in South Florida need our help this holiday season. Their parents are going through tough times, so we're hoping to fill up an 18-wheeler by the end of the night today."
Big Mama is asking that you don't forget to bring gifts for teenagers as well. "We really need to help our teenage kids. Sometimes we forget about them. So, we can use watches, hair barrettes, lotion and bath items. Something to let them know we are not overlooking them because they need love too.".
There is no item that will go unappreciated. You don't have to wrap your donation in gift wrapping paper, but they do ask that you only donate new items.
There's plenty of time to donate, and if you don't have time to buy a toy, you can stop by and drop off a few dollars.
The team will be in Hollywood on the corner of 441 and Stirling Road, until midnight, collecting toys for Big Mama's annual toy drive.
