LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) -- Results may be in Thursday after state and local officials met to address an election mess.

Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner visited the Broward Elections Department, Wednesday. The goal of his closed-door meeting with Broward Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes was to clarify November's voting fiasco.

Officials are working to find out what caused long wait lines at polling stations like one in Miramar. They're also investigating countywide ballot-counting issues.
