Suspicious package deemed safe

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A federal courthouse was on high alert Thursday as officials investigated a bomb threat.

The bomb squad examined a suspicious package left in a nearby lot in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, at Broward Boulevard and Southeast Third Avenue.

An all clear was given as the package contained only clothing.
