Person shot during home robbery

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Bullets flew during a the robbery of a home in Miami, leaving one person hospitalized.

The victim was shot in the leg during a robbery at a residence on Northeast 53rd Street and First Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Rescue workers took the victim to the hospital.

The injured person is expected to recover from the wounds suffered during the robbery.
