Police search for thieves who targeted tourists

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Robbers targeted some tourists visiting South Florida.

A Canadian family left Bayside to find someone broke into their rental car.

The thieves got away with passports, visas and cash, ruining their cruise vacation plans.

The family is working with the local consulate to get back home to Canada. "My request is you can keep all of that," said Muralidhar. "Cash, gold, all we need is documents because losing your ID and getting them again is going to take time."
