Worker injured on the job

DORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- A construction worker has been airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital after he was injured on the job.

According to reports, the man was working on a large piece of equipment when it tilted, and he slipped off and became trapped underneath. Rescue Crews rushed to the scene and rescued the worker. He was conscious and alert while they airlifted him to the hospital.

The accident happened near Northwest 25th Street and 78th Avenue, Monday morning.
