Crews fix broken bridge

SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A broken bridge caused a traffic nightmare for South Florida commuters Thursday.

The bridge on Northeast 163rd Street was out of commission after officials said the bridge's arm got stuck in the down position at around 3 p.m. Thursday.

The problem caused traffic to be backed up in both directions for hours.

Officials fixed the bridge by 6:45 p.m.
