Car crash ejects woman out of vehicle

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida woman is recovering in the hospital with head injuries after a car accident ejected her out of her vehicle.

The accident happened Friday night in Hollywood. Investigators said the woman was driving the pick-up truck collided with a Volkswagen.

The impact of the crash ejected the 46-year-old woman behind the wheel of the truck through the windshield. Rescue crews transported her to Memorial Regional Hospital with head injuries.

The other driver suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
