Trooper files lawsuit against several officers and agencies

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- An FHP trooper filed a lawsuit after she said a highly publicized traffic stop caused her a lot of trouble.

Trooper Donna Watts is seeking more than $1-million in a suit against more than 100 police officers and agencies.

She reportedly claimed they looked up her personal information and used it to intimidate her following the arrest of Miami Police Officer Fausto Lopez.

Lopez was clocked going over 100 miles-an-hour last year on the Florida Turnpike.

He was fired from the force, but his arrest created an online rift between police agencies.
