Man dies after motorcycle accident

DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and killed after smashing into a truck.

The motorcyclist allegedly tried to pass the truck who was making a left when they crashed.

The scene was near Southwest 48th Avenue and Griffin Road.

A resident said she's seen the biker speeding around the area before. "That's the ninja guy," said the woman. "It looks like the red motorcycle but when he comes around this corner, 70 mph, so fast his knee touches the ground. He looks like a ninja all dressed up like a ninja."

The biker was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The truck driver stayed on the scene.
