Broward County may change name

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- According to published reports, Broward County could soon become Lauderdale County.

Officials said they want to capitalize on the recognition Fort Lauderdale has around the country.

One county commissioner said he plans to discuss the proposal with the board.
