Miami welcomes new commission leaders

MIAMI (WSVN) -- The city of Miami will be welcoming some changes as new commission leaders are named.

Mayor Tomas Regalado appointed Marc David Sarnoff as the head of the city commission, Monday morning.

Joining Sarnoff is Wifredo Gort as vice-chairman.

The two will manage the completion of large scale projects at the Marine Stadium and the Guzman Center along with bringing forward new city programs.

Their positions will become effective at the first commission meeting.
