State trooper recovering from I-95 wreck

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Florida Highway Patrol trooper is recovering from a multi-vehicle wreck, Monday.

Felecia Andrews is listed in serious condition at Broward Medical Center. The 33-year-old on-duty trooper was badly hurt last Friday on I-95 near Commercial Boulevard in Oakland Park.

Andrews stopped in the median investigating a fender bender when a black pickup truck suddenly slammed into the back of her cruiser.

The driver of the truck was also rushed to the hospital.
