Car crashes into restaurant's outside dinning area

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A car crashed into the outside dining area of Trata Greek Taverna along Las Olas Boulevard and Southeast 11th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

The impact knocked over a railing and damaged the wall.

A restaurant employee said, "I hear a big boom. I thought maybe some of my guys fell down with a basket of glasses."

The employee said several people had reservations to eat on the outside patio but canceled. "On a busy day might've killed four, five, six people," said the employee.

Some people were treated on the scene.
