Police searching for alleged ring thief

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Deputies believe a woman caught on camera stole some priceless jewelry from a tourist at the airport.

The video shows a woman bending over and picking up what security believes is a wedding ring at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International.

The suspect then said nothing as the passenger frantically searched for the item.

The theft happened shortly after 10 p.m., Dec. 9, in Terminal 4 of the airport.
