NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A roadside tow turned into a midday highway mess.
A road ranger tow truck was crushed on Interstate 95 after a Mercedes SUV rammed into the rear and side-swiped a mini-van, just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
The four-car accident happened after a BMW was being loaded on a tow truck flatbed while the other road ranger diverted traffic.
The driver of the Mercedes was taken to a nearby hospital.
The accident caused traffic congestion northbound on I-95, just after the Northwest 62nd Avenue exit.
