Young artists in Miami for prestigious workshops

MIAMI (AP) -- Hundreds of young artists from around the country are in Miami this week receiving master classes from renowned teachers including Placido Domingo and Maria Tomei.
About 150 youths were chosen out of 10,000 applications to participate in YoungArts Week.
Workshop leaders include Adrian Grenier, Bill T. Jones, Lourdes Lopez, Bobby McFerrin and Debi Mazar.
The week culminates with a gala and performance on Saturday. The winners will share their work through free performances, readings, exhibitions and screenings at The New World Center, Miami Art Museum, and the Adrienne Arsht Center
