Man wanted in dirt bike robberies

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Several pictures have been released of a man who might be connected in a Craigslist dirt bike robberies.
Daniel Armstrong said his dirt bike was stolen in the same week, in the same way and near the same neighborhood as Bryce Arzabe. "My aunt actually called me last night and said, 'Danny, you're not going to believe this, but I heard what happened about your bike, and they had something on Channel 7 that it just happened to someone else today,'" said Armstrong.
Both dirt bikes are Suzuki RMZ-450. Arzabe's bike is a 2004 and Armstrong a 2005. They were both listed for sale on Craigslist and both sellers drove to Southwest Miami-Dade to show the bike to the would-be Craigslist buyer. "He jumped on it and started it," said Arzabe, "And then he was test driving it around. We were in the school parking lot, and he drove it around twice, and then he went into the street and just took off and just didn't see him since."
Armstrong described something similar. "He took it for a ride, went up the block, went back and came back around, and then he got to the stop sign and acts like he gonna make a U-turn and instead he just hung a right and took off going westbound on 146th Street," said Armstrong.
Arzabe's mother snapped several cell phone pictures of the man. She said the man wearing a black shirt is the dirt bike bandit.
Armstrong was shown the pictures of the man and said, "Oh, that's him."
Miami-Dade Police is not linking both cases yet but want to speak to the man seen in the pictures.
In the meantime, police are giving Craigslist sellers and buyers some advice. "Make sure it's a public place, not at night. Don't bring them to your house and just try to use a little bit of common sense," said Miami-Dade Police Spokesperson Detective Aida Fina-Milian.
If you recognize the man seen on the photo, police want to speak to him. Call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
