Police officer injured in crash

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Paramedics rushed a Miami-Dade Police officer to the hospital early Tuesday morning.

The department said the officer was on his motorcycle when he was involved in an accident involving a pickup truck. The crash happened on Southwest 113th Avenue and 32nd Street.

Rescue workers rushed the officer to Kendall Regional Trauma Center with minor injuries.

It remains still unclear who caused the accident.
