Motorcyclist dies in crash

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police said a motorcyclist was killed in an early-morning crash Tuesday.

The accident happened on Bird Road and 137th Avenue around 5:15 a.m. According to Miami-Dade Police, the motorcycle rear-ended a vehicle and then burst into flames upon impact.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Miami-Dade officials continue to investigate the fatal crash.
