New city manager for Doral

DORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- The city of Doral is undergoing another managing change.

Former Miami Mayor, Joe Carollo, is tapped to be Doral's city manager.

A five-member council unanimously accepted his nomination during a short meeting, Wednesday evening.

Carollo replaced now former Interim Manager, Meritt Steirheim, who abruptly resigned.

After stepping down, Steirheim said, the mayor informed him that he had someone in mind, who could permanently fill the position.
