Suspect in fire attack questioned by police

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have confirmed that a suspect accused of dousing a man with gasoline and setting him on fire is speaking to investigators.

Hialeah Police said that Alex Cineas, 21, came forward and is currently being questioned by police about the Christmas night attack at a local gas station. Detectives said Cineas and an accomplice doused Darrell Brackett with gas and set him on fire.

At this time, Cineas is not facing charges. Detectives have released surveillance video taken outside Hialeah hospital, where one of the injured suspects was driven to.

Police are still searching for the second suspect, Willie Summersett, 29, who already has an open warrant for attempted murder.
