Police search for armed robbers

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Employees at a Pompano Beach store were held at gunpoint.

Crooks posed as customers at the Sprint store off Atlantic Boulevard and Northeast 77th Avenue asked employees to show them different kinds of phones.

Then one crook went for his gun and ordered a customer to the back of the store. "They make a demand for phones," said BSO Detective Luis Rivera, "one of the suspects starts to put the cell phones in a black plastic bag."

One of the robbers grabbed iPhones among other pricey gadgets and put them in a sack.
