Grass fire ignites near homes
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade Fire Rescue is monitoring a grass fire near some homes.
The grass fire broke at Southwest 134th and 224th Street, just before 4 p.m. Monday.
The Florida Forest Service also responded to the scene. Thirty acres were charred and the fire has since been contained.
There are no structures in immediate danger, and no one was injured.
