Middle school teacher faces termination

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida school teacher is facing termination.

New River Middle School math teacher Sarena Stewart has been charged with misconduct and violating the school board's anti-bullying policy.

Stewart was suspended last month after a complaint claimed she intimidated and yelled at a co-worker and made fun of students.

Stewart denies the allegations.

Her termination remains pending until a state hearing.
