Car strikes girl on bike

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (WSVN) -- A 12-year-old girl is recovering in the hospital after she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle.

Police said the little girl was struck by a van near Copans Road and Lyons Road, Tuesday morning. The victim is expected to be OK. The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
