Driver crashes into pole, no injuries

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida driver is OK after slamming into a pole and knocking it down.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, on 71st Street and Collins Avenue. Traffic on Collins Avenue came to a halt, while crews worked to repair the pole.

The driver escaped unharmed, but the car ended up on the sidewalk.

No one was injured.
