Police arrest dozens in pill bust
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Officials have made more than a dozen arrests across South Florida for the distribution of dangerous prescription pills.
Officials arrested about 17 people Thursday morning in Boynton Beach. They are accused of illegally obtaining nearly 50,000 pills of Oxycodone and selling them on the street for $30 a pop.
Police continue to search for others involved in this ring.
Police also found a gun, approximately two pounds of cocaine and $7,000 in cash.
