Big catch in Everglades

EVERGLADES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz snagged a 10-foot Python.

Wildlife Commissioner Ron Bergeron and State Representative Frank Artiles joined him for the picture.

The snake caught during the 2013 Python challenge contest. The contest is a part of a plan to help reduce the growing Python problem in South Florida.
