1 dead, 3 injured after vehicle collision

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are investigating a deadly accident where two vehicles collided.
The accident occurred on Northwest 21st Avenue and 20th Street in Miami, Monday night. According to police, the driver of a Lincoln ran the stop sign and collided with a black Chevy Tahoe, carrying two adults and a baby inside. "The impact was so severe that it tossed this Chevy Tahoe on to the pillar here," said Miami Police Detective Willie Moreno.
A passenger in the Lincoln was ejected from the vehicle. "I seen the man when they pulled him out of the car and they were trying to bring him back to life but they couldn't," said Lissmari Lara.
He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died. Two passengers in the Tahoe were injured but not seriously. "One of them was transported to Jackson as a precautionary measure, stable condition," said Moreno. "The other person is here talking with us."
Police said someone in a third car drove up to the scene, and took the baby to JMH. The baby girl is expected to survive. "There was reports of a baby that we did not see when we arrived but there was a baby that was transported, possibly by a Good Samaritan, someone that took the baby to Ryder Trauma Center," said Miami Fire-Rescue Lieutenant Ignatius Carroll.
It is unclear if the driver of the Lincoln will face any charges.
Police continue to investigate.
