Police are asking for help in finding suspected sexual abuser

WILTON MANORS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released the sketch of a man who allegedly sexually abused two teenage girls.
According to police, a man was walking along the sidewalk on Northeast 26th Street on Jan. 7th, and walked up to a fence. On the other side of the fence were two teenage girls. "It's affecting me very deeply," said CEO Mark Dhooge, "We've helped kids in distress for 19 years and have never seen anything like this. I'm angry. I'm appalled at the level of hurt these girls probably felt."
According to police, it was about 3:30 a.m. when the girls were somehow outside. "An individual was walking down the street," said Seargent Charles Howard, "Heard some noise. He engaged in conversation with some teenagers. After a brief conversation, he jumped over the fence and assaulted two of the teenagers."
Police said, there were no screams just other kids who witnessed the ordeal. However, the incident was not reported for several days. Neighbors in the area have mixed opinions about the incident. "They do go out," said neighbor, Bob Burczyk. "I mean they run around. They're bad girls, that's why they're in there."
The girls were at a shelter called Kids in Distress. The shelter provides help to children who are abuse victims. They were supposed to be supervised by personnel. "Due to fire restrictions," said Dhooge, "As well as our license, we do not lock internal doors. We've terminated the two staff people who were involved in this incident."
Neighbor Don Ruiz said, "I have called the police before because the children have a tendency to jump the fence and ask people to use their phones and there is also people on the outside who have a tendency to go in and jump the fence. I've heard two people say that it's the girls' fault," said Ruiz, "But that's ridiculous. A 15-year-old doesn't have the mind. Anybody who says that is a moron. Protect the children. I hope they catch this guy."
Police describe the man to be around 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 158 to 175 pounds. He has light eyes possibly green or blue, short brown hair, military style haircut and may have a tattoo on his left shoulder. On his right shoulder he has a gunshot scar.
People in the area have been told the man goes by the name of Carlos or Brian.
