Home garage fire chars vehicle

TAMARAC, Fla. (WSVN) -- A fired that broke out in the garage of a South Florida home has scorched a vehicle.

The fire started just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home along Northwest 77th Street and 66th Terrace. The blaze burned the walls and engulfed a sport utility vehicle parked inside the garage.

Firefighters stopped the flames from spreading to the home.
