Toll hike approved for Rickenbacker Causeway

VIRGINIA KEY, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade County commissioners have signed off on a toll hike for the Rickenbacker Causeway.

The commission has agreed to a 25 cent increase for all non-residents using the causeway.

The new funds will be used to pay for repairs to the Bear Cut Bridge that links Virginia Key to Key Biscayne.
