ATM stolen from local mini-mart

OPA LOCKA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the thieves behind yet another ATM burglary at a local mini-mart.
The Marcrix Mini Market located at 902 Burlington Street is the latest victim in the string of ATM burglaries across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties over the past month.
Not only was the ATM taken from this family-owned business, Thursday morning, but the safe and some cigarettes were also stolen.
One employee is now scared to go back to work. "This is not right. This should be more safe for us women that work in the store," she said.
This latest burglary follows a string of ATM thefts and attempted thefts. The most recent incident was last week at the Discount Supermarket at Northeast 25th Street and Second Avenue.
A half hour earlier, there was an attempt at the Check Cashing USA on Northwest 29th Street and 27th Avenue, and before that, a Check Cashing USA at Northwest 28th Street and Seventh Avenue.
Police are investigating and continue to investigate these ATM burglaries for any similarities.
If you have any information on this ATM burglary, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
