Authorities search for missing elderly woman

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing elderly woman.

Eighty-six-year-old Alice Mae Martell went missing on Tuesday along West Flagler Street and 40th Avenue. Detectives describe her as a white female, who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs between 130 and 140 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Martell was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on Martell's whereabouts is urged to call 1-888-FL-MISSING.
